Eser Barber
Eser Barber is a one-of-a-kind, premium men's barber nestled in a beautifully decorated, intimate venue near Terrigal Beach. I was approached by the owner to help design and develop a website that would truly reflect his new direction. Teaming up with a developer, we collaborated across the entire project journey - from discovery to design and development - to create a digital presence that would match the exceptional in-person experience Eser Barber provides.
The physical space itself stands as a cornerstone of the Eser brand experience. Our challenge was to translate that distinctive atmosphere into a digital environment that would not only streamline customer interactions but also foster a sense of community and drive business growth.
Challenge
The existing website suffered from poor user experience and failed to represent the brand authentically. With confusing navigation and unnecessary steps in the booking process, it created friction rather than facilitating seamless interaction. Most importantly, it didn't capture the unique character of the studio space - a critical element of the Eser Barber brand. The owner needed a platform that would foster community engagement, drive brand awareness, and increase revenue through both services and product sales.
Solution
We designed a clean, minimal website that captures the essence of Eser Barber's physical space, using a mix between neutral and a warm brown colour palette to reflect the studio's natural elements. Key improvements include a streamlined booking system, an events page to build community, and a content section for styling guides to boost SEO while positioning the brand as an authority in men's grooming.
The strategic "reserve and collect" e-commerce approach introduces product sales in a way that enhances the customer experience while providing valuable insights into purchasing patterns. Though recently launched, initial feedback has been positive, establishing a foundation for community growth and new revenue streams through a digital platform that truly represents this premium barbershop.
